To practise rendering and posing I’ve chosen this creature from my sketchbook , as it will include props and a relatively simple sculpt . I’ve spent more time on t already than I should have but its been hard getting back into the swing after christmas
Zsphere model , working on proportions and areas of mass, as well as hinting at some muscle groups , such as the calfs
The skin, with the legs stretched slightly, and the belly and chest partially formed.
Thick muscular thighs power it’s movement among the trees , with long arms, toes and fingers to grasp branches and fruit.
Some facial definition and more detail on the limbs. Next steps are to retopologise the mesh and uv map it , so I can divide it and add detail.
